4 months

Today my youngest is 4 months old. Hard to believe that 4 months have come and gone. All along I've thought that Spencer was the heaviest and tallest of all the kids. He is the tallest so far but not by much. By 1/2" and 1". And Quinten was heavier and Taylor lighter at 4 months. Oh how I've forgotten. Spencer is 13 pounds 10 ounces and 25 inches. I know it doesn't matter how big they are but I seem to be fascinated by how different each kid can be in everything they are and everything they do. Spencer had his shots today and everything looks good.
We got the truck started yesterday but this morning it was a no go. I guess the cold weather wasn't really the cause of the not starting truck. Our battery was crapping out and I think the weather just put it over the edge. Luckly Chris wasn't busy at work today so he was able to get a new battery right away.
Thanks to Kathy for letting me use her van to take Spencer for his shots. And for watching my other 2 punkeroos.

My starbucks free drink things arrived today. I got 4. I think I will use them for the biggest drink I can. I do love having a Venti triple shot. I just have one question. Why don't Venti's have 3 shots in them? Maybe I need to suggest that to Starbucks.
That made my day getting those in the mail. Because of this cold weather our truck that was bought from Texas wouldn't start today. It started yesterday but maybe last night was colder. Now we need to get a boost. And stupid me parked the truck right in front of the Pathfinder so we can't get it our of the garage now. Oh the joys. At least we are getting to spend a nice day together.
Hope those that have the cold weather are staying warm. Here's looking to Thursday when it won't be as bad. Even tomorrow is suppose to be better.

back in my good books

So I finally got through to Starbucks. They can't give me a new gift card but are sending me some free drink coupons. Yeah! And really who am I kidding I was still going to go there but maybe not as often when I have to pay for it myself. Gift cards are great.

Oh Starbucks...

why do you fail me so?
I love Starbucks but lately I've been really frustrated with them. I have now had 3 drinks that tasted like crap. And I never find that out till I get home.
I was given a bunch of gift cards for Christmas. Last week I went and had $.90 on one and $30 on another. So I used up the $0.90 and gave the $30 one for the balance. I was given a card back and didn't think anything of it till I went to use it the other day. Nothing on the card. So the last chick gave me the wrong card back. Me being the chicken I am didn't ask to speak to the manager because this girl said she couldn't do anything about it.
So yesterday I got up the nerve to ask if there was anything that could be done. I was given a number to call. Hopefully they will be willing to give me a new card. If not I might have to take a Starbucks break. Because I don't want to pay, with my own money, for crappy drinks. Why can't they get it right. It's not like I order something crazy.
I really enjoy their coffee.

Busy but not much going on

Couldn't leave Spencer out. He didn't want to smile for me. I guess he can't be smiley all day.

Not sure the title makes sense. For some reason I've been busy but not sure doing what. Chris has been working a lot lately and will finally have some time off this weekend. The kids and I really miss spending time with him. Not much new has happened. Just trying to keep our family and household running smoothly.

A couple of weeks ago we took the kids skating for the first time. They loved it. Taylor being miss independent (with certain things) wanted to skate by herself. Well using her skating trainer that is. She impressed both of us.

As I walked up the stairs to get Quinten for supper, I could smell poop. I checked the bonus room, nothing. Quinten had been awfully quiet and I thought he was sleeping. I thought wrong. As i approached the bedroom, not his, but Spencer's(he wanted to sleep in the white bed which in Spencer's room.) I saw poop smeared under the door. I think this was the worst one yet. All over the floor and not just sitting there but ground right in. All over a towel, toys, stuffed animals, bedding, wipe packages, socks and more floor. I think he also painted his feet with it. I used up all my Prosolve, but I needed something stronger and better. Meanwhile Spencer is freaking out, Quinten just got out of the bath and peed on the floor right in front of the poop room, and it was time for supper. After an hour of trying to clean it up I went and bought a steam cleaner thing. I'm not sure why we haven't bought one yet but it did a great job of cleaning up the mess. At least now we won't have to rent one to clean out the pathfinder or for the kitchen chairs. If you've ever seen them you'll know what I am talking about. I might just take before/after photos. Speaking of Pathfinder if anyone out there is dying to own one, you're in luck we have one for sale.
Well I think I might go lay down and watch some tv.

So Blessed

I know I've said this before but it sometimes takes a video or a picture to help us remember. I am soooo blessed to have 3 beautiful, healthy kids and I do not take that or them for granted.
Our friends who lost their twins are now pregnant again. I know they could use our prayers. I think about them constantly and others who this has happened to before. I don't know what it feels like but I want them and others to know how much I care.
Take a minute to hug your kids. I know I just did and do it all the time.

pink eyes

So Friday night we noticed that Taylor had red and gucky eyes. Off to the clinic by our house, with all 3 kids, by myslef. Thankgoodness they were good. Confirmed pink eye. Here we thought great nobody else has it now Quinks eyes are red and getting gucky. Hopefully it stops there. I can't imagine trying to put drops in Spencers eyes. Other than that things are going well. Chris has been working long days and lots with no day off. That just makes the time we get to spend with him that much more special.

3 months

It's been awhile since I posted on Spencer. I had him weighed today. He is now 12 lbs 4 oz and 24 inches. Tallest so far. He's sleeping awesome. Sometimes 14 hours at night. Such an easy going baby. We are really looking forward to seeing what he will be like. He doesn't really look like the other 2. So we'll have to see. Babies change so much. That's all I have. I won't give every last detail of what he is doing now.

P.S. I'm sad that the time with the away family is over. I wish they lived here. I miss hanging out with them. Surprise, surprise I got a little teary after they all left. I had to be tough otherwise Nathan would have made fun of me. Miss you guys already.
