Japanese Village

I know I write alot of post all on one day but we don't have the internet at home. So there. Anyway I forgot to write about our outing to Japanese Village with Taylor, the boy, Uncle Steve and Auntie Sue. I know your jealous Bri that we went there. Although you guys have probably gone since we went. Anyway. Who would have thought a 2 year old could behave that well at a restaurant. She was so good. Except for when she spilled her drink all over Quinten. He didn't like that so much. We actually enjoyed ourselves. I should explain that we always enjoy ourselves when we hang out with Steve and Sue but don't normally enjoy ourselves when we eat out with the Monsters. I thought I should clarify. I don't want S&S to think it was them I was talking about. Maybe I should just stop while I am ahead. Needless to say we had a good time. The End. Steve and Sue are not the Monsters.

The Boy!

I feel bad that I don't write about the boy very often. He just doesn't do as much as Taylor does yet. Soon though. He is already trying to crawl. Of course he is still young so he can't do it yet. He gets so frustrated. What age are babies suppose to crawl at anyway? Taylor was about 7 months but we were told she probably wouldn't do all of the milestones at the same rate as most babies. Therefore I don't know what age is normal. I don't want him to grow up too fast. When it is your first baby you can't wait for them to do stuff, but second babies whoa slow down. I'm too busy to try and keep up with 2 kids on the move. Yesterday I took care of 2 extra kids. A 4 year old and 4 month old. Oh my goodness. I feel sorry for people that have twins and other kids. I was so busy. At least Taylor was down for a nap for some of the afternoon. I didn't know how I was going to schedule feedings for two babies. I made it work though and I was in one piece by the end of the day. I even took all 4 of them for a walk to Sobeys. I'm not sure I would do that again. Man Kids walk slow. I had fun and so did they. That's all that matters.

More Poop!

I forgot to write about the poop. For once it wasn't Taylor's poop that is being talked about. The night we went to Cats my mom babysat the kids and took them for a walk. I guess Taylor say some dog poop on the sidewalk. That is all she will talk about. The first thing she said to me, the next morning was, I saw dog poop. Great! What is the fascination with poop? At least Taylor wasn't crappin' on the sidewalk.

Poop!

Is is wrong to start putting your kids to work at a young age?

Cats!

We went to Cats on Tuesday night. What a nice time we had. It was so great to get out with no kids. We went out to Red Lobster first. That kind of sucked. We got to the restaurant at 6:00 and Cats started at 8:00 so we thought we would have lots of time to eat. We got our meal at about 7:35. I've never eaten lobster so fast. What a waste of food. Oh well. At least the play was excellent. I don't really like actual cats but these cats were cool. My favorite cat is Rum Tum Tugger. The sexy cat. Can a cat be sexy? This one was. The only bad thing out the play was I had to sit by the stinky lady who took up my space. Chris and I got to cuddle. That was nice. Oh yeah and I started to leak during the intermission. Luckly I didn't check my coat. Oh embawising. We lots of fun on our date. I recommend seeing Cats.

I, Kirst, scrapbooked

I can hardly believe that I did some scrapbooking. Sue had a class on Saturday. I was some what scared to go because I have no idea what I am doing. Sue was such a great teacher. I had so much fun. I even strayed from what Sue had done and tried my own thing. I might even start doing some big pages. Who knows. Maybe I will become crafty yet.
No poop story this week.

Sandals

Yeah sandal weather is finally here! That means Heather you will always see my feet. I will try to make them look as pretty as possible. Taylor and I painted our toenails today. She didn't want "the boy" to be left out, so I... No I didn't. You can't paint boys nails. Ah Spring has sprung.

Yeah no carpet poop

Well as the title says we haven't had any carpet poop lately, but we have had poop in underwear. Taylor was being so good about going potty that we thought we would let her wear real underwear (Dora to be exact). That didn't work out so well. She has pooped twice in them. Doesn't she know it feels gross. Oh well at least she is trying to use the potty. Anyway enough of that. I finally had the courage to but something from Lululemon this week. Of course I didn't get the pants I want but I will when I lose ten more pounds. I thought I deserved something for losing over 12 pounds. So I bought shorts. Heather came with me to make sure my butt didn't look all big and gross. I was so excited to go to the gym the next day. Bikini here I come. Ha!Ha!Ha! Will the stretchy skin ever go down? I don't really want a trophy belly. I have kids and everybody can see that. I don't need a mommy tummy to prove that.

Mini Eggs

Mini eggs seem to be a theme right now so I thought I can't be left out. Last night at Tuesday night dinner we had lots of mini eggs. They are going to be the death to my weight loss. Oh well Easter only comes once a year so sometimes you have to indulge. And that ice cream Heather was soooo good. I hope it will last till next Tuesday. I would like to also say that I won a game of Settlers last night. Nathan said it was a fake win because it was a learning round for Deedee, but a win is a win. I am Queen of Catan. It has been a really long time since I won. Now I need to beat Chris. That time will soon come. I have to go feed the boy. Bye!

Smile

If you are ever having a bad day, all you have to do is look at this face. His smile makes everything better. His teethy and dimply grin just brighten up my day. Are teethy and dimply words? If not they are now. Jordan this shirt reminded me of something you would wear. Doesn't he look cool. I love my kids.

Poop Again!

I know yesterday I said I didn't have a story about poop, but I was reminded, by Nathan, that I do. First of all I want to say that Taylor was wearing a swimmer. For those of you who don't know what a swimmer is, it is a diaper for swimming. Hence the name swimmer. Anyway, lets just say poop leaked out into the hot tub. They had to drain the hot tub and kick everyone out of the pool. I was so embarrased(?). I was later told that there were little poop pieces floating around. Gross! How is it that everything I do in my life lately seems to involve poop. Some may think I am obsessed with poop, but it is my life. I know it has been a good day when I don't have to clean up poop off of the floor. How sad. This is what my life has become. I wouldn't change it for the world. I love my kids, even if they paint the carpet with poop.

Rolling Over

Quinten has finally rolled over both ways and hasn't stopped since. He is already trying to crawl. And he hasn't stopped smiling since he started that as well. The boy always gives me an instant smile. Pictures to follow.

Pee

So what is up with kids not wanting to use the potty or their diaper. At least it wasn't poop this time. I should get stock in Pro Solve. We go through that stuff like wild fire. Taylor thinks that it is so funny. We have tried everything from dancing to mini m&m's. I need suggestions on what else I can try. Hopefully it will stop soon.

Poop

So we had another poop incident today. Taylor decided to pick at the poop in her pull-up. Luckly Chris heard her talking about it and stopped a mega disaster. What is with kids and there poop. It wasn't as messy as last time, thank goodness. I was the one gagging this time not Chris. Gross!
