Dedication, lights, Christmas

Yesterday we had Spencer's dedication. Everything went well and it was nice that my bro's and sis in law could be there. Although I did get some flack for having yesterday. We thought it would be a perfect day to have it. and so we did. After spending some time at my parents we took the kids around our neighbourhood to see all the Christmas lights. I'm always amazed at the little things kids love. It didn't matter how lit up the house was the kids thought it was awesome. We heard a lot of wows coming from the backseat. It brought tears to my eyes to see them so happy and excited.
I'm looking forward to spending lots of time with family over the next week or so. So much so that I think they might be sick of us.
Merry Christmas to everybody!

I was tagged

Kristen tagged me in her last post, to tell 7 things some people might not know about me.
So here goes.
1. I'm thinking about getting a purse. I know what most of you are thinking. Wha? Just remember I didn't say I was getting one, only thinking about it.

2. I secretly like the color pink. I even have a few pink shirts.

3. I would like to go back to school someday. Maybe become a paramedic like I've always wanted.

4. I would love to have a red haired kid. Spencer could be it. His hair is reddish already but it can change.

5. I'm terrified of spiders.

6. I like breakfast type foods. Especially a brunch buffet. So yummy. I'm hungry just thinking about it.

7. Chris thinks I'm nuts but I want to learn how to play the violin. I keep asking for one but Santa hasn't brought me one yet. Maybe he knows how scratchy it will sound.

I now have to tag 3 people. I'll understand if you don't want to do this.
Chrissy, Beth and Miranda

Tonight we had a big group for Tuesday night dinner. Got lots of pictures of the babies and the kids doing gingerberad houses with Unkie. Hopefully I will have a chance tomorrow to post them.

More poop

I know in my last post I talked about Quinks pooping on the toilet and it wasn't a bad poop post. Well today is different. He is still trying to go on the potty but he also goes in his room, because he can't open the door to go to the bathroom. He then proceeds to play with it. I think Prosolve and I are developing a close relationship. Watch out Chris. So back we went to using duct tape. Quinten goes and gets it for us now. At least he is a fast learner with some things. Hopefully tomorrow will be a poop free day. I'm getting sick of the extra laundry.

Poop

Normally when I title a post poop it's a bad thing. Not today. Quinten has been using the potty quite a bit lately and even last week started using it without telling us. Would put the cushiony seat on the toilet and use the tub to climb on. Yesterday he hoped himself up there and pooped. Yeah! Hopefully it continues so I only have to change one set of diapers.
We finally got our Christmas card photo done. What a gong show. Don't 2 year olds know how important these photos are to mommies?:) We're not professionals but we had fun.
We had a great but busy weekend. Hope it was great for everyone too. Now to next week when the fam starts to roll in. Can't wait.

10 hours yeah!

The last 2 night Spence has gone 10 hours. What a relief. Hopefully it continues.

shots x4

Today we had Spencers 2 month shots. Taylor, Quinten and I got our flu vaccines at the same time. The little man weighs 11 pounds 6 ounces and is 22 5/8 inches. 45 percentile. That has never happened with our kids. Well actually Quinten was 12 lbs 2 ounces at 2 months but then I don't know what happened. Taylor wanted to weigh herself so i did both the other 2. Taylor is 35 lbs and 39" and Quinks is 24 lbs and 31". They all did really well with their needles.
The last 2 nights Spencer has let me sleep for 8 hours. i'm not sure tonight I will be so lucky. He has been sleeping a lot today. It could be a long night ahead. Which will prove to be interesting going shopping. Hopefully I don't get too frustrated with kids. Somebody always ends up crying hopefully it won't be me. Not much has happened since i last posted. hope all is well with everyone.

Yeah for Sleep!

Last night Spencer went for 8 1/2 hours. And at the right time too. Hopefully tonight is the same way. Khrista and her kids came over today. Her and I were upstairs with the babies while Quinten napped and Maguire and Taylor were in the basement playing. They were playing really well together. We could there laughter and then it got silent. That is till Taylor came up crying because she had slipped. Well they got into the paint and there was paint all over them and the floor. What a mess. It was pretty funny and both of us couldn't stop laughing. What else do you do in a situation like that? Pictures to follow.

We also got the pleasure of meeting Steve and Jenn's new baby Jaia. What a beautiful baby. It was so great to hang out with them for the evening. i'm sure we will be seeing them lots over the next few weeks.

Tree is up

We got our tree last night and decorated it today. I love the smell of a real Christmas tree. So good. Now I'm in the mood to start baking. The usuals are rum balls, gingersnaps, almond roca. just to name a few. I love this time of year. And as an added bonus I'm almost done my shopping. Stocking stuffers are the only thing left.
Saw Movin out on Friday. Not what I expected. Normally in a musical you expect the actors to be singing. THis was a band up top with the piano man singing and the actors just dancing. Almost like a rock ballet type of thing. It was good but not what we normally are into.
Hope you all had a great weekend.

Mommy's buns aka poppyseed rolls

So I'm not sure how I managed it but I was able to make poppy seed rolls today. Maybe I am able to handle 3 kids plus do other stuff. And this was after Taylor had a major melt down at Safeway. She's had these meltdowns here at home and it seems like she is possessed but this was much worse. It got to the point that I was very embarrassed.
Not much is new around here. Spencer has gone back to getting up at night. As long as I have coffee I'm good to go. tomorrow night we are going to Movin' out (Billy Joel Musical). Hopefully Spencer will take a bottle again. Could be a long night for my parents otherwise.
That's all for now. Gotta go check up on the little kiddlets.

Sickness be gone

So I did end up getting sick but not nearly as bad as Chris or Quinten. Taylor didn't get it and it looks like she probably won't. We thought that Quinten was done puking on Wednesday so it was fine to go to Edmonton. Well Friday night Quinks puked in Grandpa Tom's eye. And then proceeded to puke a few more times. So needless to say Chris's parents both got sick in the wee hours of Sunday morning. I believe Richard also caught a bit of it. I guess he just wanted to spread the joy. We all feel fine now. Thankgoodness now we can get back to our regular scheduled laundry. Well that is after the poop laundry. What is up with Quinten now pooping either on the carpet or blankets. He doesn't like to be dirty. He is on his way to being potty trained but only pees on the potty a few times a day. It will come. Till then I guess I could be doing a lot of laundry. The duct tape works but leaves sticky stuff on the clothes which doesn't look so good.
In happier new we (well Chris) put up Christmas lights. This is a first for us. Now we need to decorate the inside and then the tree, hopefully next weekend. I love Christmas. It makes me so happy inside. I'm like a kid. And I can't wait to see my bro's, sis in law, Nathan, Steve, Jenn and Jaia. I love family times. We always have so much fun together, even though I seem to get made fun of lots. Oh well.
Well I need to go round the kids up to clean so that we can decorate later.

Update:Quinks is still puking, had blue lips today and has lost some weight so we had him checked out. Who knows why he had blue lips but the Doc said not to worry. And the puking and diarreha could be made worse because of milk. When the stomach has had a gastrointestinal bug the lining is sloughed off. And there aren't enough enzymes to break down the sugars in milk therefore it acts as a laxative. So no milk for Quinks for a few days. If the puke and poop don't clear up off to our family doc we will go. He doesn't seem to be affected by it so that's good. Poor kid doesn't get the whole puking thing.

Wednesday, November 14, 2007

Oh Great!

Here are the pictures I couldn't upload the other day.

Now Quinks is sick and was throwing up all day. Hopefully Taylor, Spencer or I get it. We did a lot of laundry today because we had Quinks puking in blankets seen as he doesn't get that you do it in the toilet. I hope he is feeling better tomorrow. We are suppose to be going to Edmonton on Friday and won't be if somebody else gets sick.

6 weeks already

I am finding it really hard to believe that Spencer is 6 weeks old already. I go for my 6 week check up tomorrow so hopefully I get the green light to really start working out again. We moved Quinten into his bed on Saturday. It brings back memories of how what it was like doing it with Taylor. I know it gets better. I just wish I was doing it on more sleep. Then I might not get so frustrated. Things are going well here. Although Chris seems to have caught a stomach bug. Hopefully the rest of us don't catch it. It was a rough day today. I might have to go hang out at my parents house tomorrow. The kids don't understand that daddy can't play.
Well that's all I have. Except for a few pictures from our new camera, which I love. Okay so no pictures yet. Blogger is being funny.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Okay so maybe not the MOST wonderful time of the year. But as I was drinking my eggnog latte, in a Christmas cup, that is the song that was going through my head. I love Christmas. Everything about it. And this is just the start of it for me. We got the kids Christmas/dedication outfits last night and now it's time for Christmas shopping. We don't have any clue as to what to get the kids. I think Taylor will be easy because she loves littles pet shop, polly pockets, barbie. Anything girly really. Quinten is going to be tough. And Spencer he'll be easy. For the kids first Christmas we don't do a lot. Clothes mostly. I went a little crazy last year, mostly because I hid stuff and forgot about it. And my family won't let me live it down. This year I am going to keep track of everything.
As I'm writing this the kids are climbing on the couch and Quinten thinks he belongs to a nudist colony. Why won't the kids keep his clothes and diaper on. It's really not good seen as he has diarreha. Makes for a lot of laundry.
Enjoy the start of the Christmas season.
Have a great day. I know that I have.

Eye opener

I've seen a few videos in memory of babies. Today I saw a couple of them that really made me think. I need to cherish these moments because you just never know. I already knew this but sometimes we just need a reminder. It doesn't matter how clean my house is, as long as I spend the quality time with my kids. Take the pictures, the videos, do the crafts, play the games. So if you ever come over and my house isn't very tidy, don't judge me, but know that I am having a great time making memories. And if it is tidy, know that I still am making those memories but the tidying takes place at other times.

Yes I'm 30 and......

I went to my first concert last night. Chris surprised me with Billy Joel tickets for my birthday. I don't have any other concerts to compare but it was really good. He is such an amazing musician. And funny too.
So as I sit here on a Tuesday, with nobody here for Tuesday night dinner, I realize how much I am missing a bunch of my family. I really wish my brothers, Kristen and Nathan were here. Just over a month a the family will start to roll in. I can't wait for Nathan to be back for good. He's like another brother for me, seen as mine don't live here anymore. Maybe I am having an emotional day, or I am sleep deprived. Or maybe both, and that is why I am feeling this way. It probably doesn't help that as I am cleaning up the kids are coming behind me messing the house up again. Does anybody else feel really frustrated by this? Today I feel like I just can't keep up with them. It also probably doesn't help that Chris has to work late. Sorry if I seem like a downer but sometimes I just need to get it off my chest.
Well I'd better get back to the cleaning now that Quinten is in bed. Hopefully the house will stay tidy. That is till tomorrow when the kid tornado starts again.
Have a great night.

More halloween pictures

Okay so I did these posts in the wrong order. Oops. Scroll done for more pictures and the actual written post.

Halloween

Well I think so far, halloween has been for me. Get the kids dressed up, take some pictures, go get some candy. Which of course they share with me. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed when Taylor said she was done trick or treating. What do you mean you want to go home? Our bag isn't full. Oh right the candy isn't suppose to be for me. At least we have candy left over.

About a half hour before we were to go trick or treating Taylor informed me that she didn't want to be a skunk but a princess. A little more notice would have been nice. We got her in her skunk costume only because we told her she could be a princess next year. I hope she forgets about it because I really want the kids to dress up as lobsters. Maybe she could be a lobster princess.

Quinten didn't seem to really care one or the other about halloween. He got some candy and then just wanted to be with all the other kids.

So all in all we had a great time.

1 month already

I can't believe that Spencer is a month old already. Boy time is flying by. I guess a lot has happened around here in the last couple of weeks. Spencer had his 1 month appointment today. He weighs 8 lbs 13 oz and is 22 inches long. He also smiled for the first time in the wee hours of Sunday morning. Made getting up in a sleep deprived state so much better. I will leave you with some pictures of his crazy hair and his 1 month.

He looks like he is ready to fight. My prince charming #2.

What a great weekend

Last night we went to a kids halloween party. Always a good time. Yesterday Taylor and I were able to spend some time together just the 2 of us. Taylor and Quinks have been needing my attention so I am trying to spend a little one on one time with each of them. Not sure what Quinten and I will do. I'm not sure he is into shopping like Taylor is.

Today we went on a pumpkin hunt with a bunch of friends. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to spend time as a family. Other than that we have had a pretty relaxing weekend. Here are some pictures from our pumpkin adventures.

Taylor liked petting the animals. Quinks not so much.

What a weekend

So after spending the afternoon, into the evening, at Urgent care on Friday I was feeling not too bad. Saturday afternoon I started having this pain above my incision, just on the right side. That night I thought I was going to break open. I think I worried Chris because he kept asking if we should go to the hospital. I decided to stay home and go to bed in hopes that would help. No such luck. I still felt pretty crappy and very sore on Sunday morning. Off to Urgent care again. This time my incision had broken open, only in one spot, and was draining blood, pus, and fluid. They gave me a treatment of iv antibiotics and told to come back last night for another treatment. This morning I woke up feeling much better. The 2 iv treatments plus the drainage seemed to help. I still had to go to the home iv clinic where they said I didn't need anymore iv treatments and just to take my oral antibiotic. I also still had to have an abdominal/pelvic ultrasound. Then back to Urgent care to wait in line to get the results. Everything is fine with that. The doc said because of the draining things are looking up. Thank goodness. Now to get back to normal. and tomorrow I have to drive to High River for Spencer's snip.

Hopefully the week gets better from here on out.

New haircut

Taylor got her cut shorter today. She was pretty excited about doing so we made it happen. Things are going okay in the lobbster household. With a c-section the health nurse comes and takes the staples out 3-5 days after surgery. They put steri-strips on and let you know they will fall off, on their own, in a few days. Well mine didn't and I finally pulled them off yesterday. At the beginning of the week I noticed a painful, red, swollen area near my incision. Yesterday I got it checked and because the steri-strips were on so long bacteria got under them and cause an infection. Luckly I caught it before it got too bad. I was feeling awesome and now back to some pain. Hopefully it will feel much better in the next day or so. Otherwise I feel great. Not too tired, not sure how that has happened but whatever. I am just loving spending time with my kids and husband. I love my family.

Busy

So I might need to lower my standards for keeping a tidy house. 3 kids is lots of work especially when I clean something up and one of the little monsters comes behind me messing things up. If I didn't know better I would think that they were doing it on purpose to frustrate me. At least the bathrooms are clean, and the kitchen is clean. Now to tackle the 2 kids bedrooms. We might be moving Quinten out of the shared bedroom. They just aren't sleeping well together. It has been almost 10:00 every night and they are still awake. Then when we move Spencer maybe we will re-evaluate this. One kid is fed now to feed the other 2.

I survived

So I survived my first day with out Chris. It went pretty smoothly. I even got Taylor to her dance class and we were early. Not sure how I managed that. I'm sure it will get easier every day. I don't even feel sleep deprived. The last 3 nights Spencer has only gotten up once. It's been so nice. Hopefully it continues. He is starting to fill out a bit more. I'll try to post some pictures soon.
Well a Mom's work is never done. It is now laundry folding time. Oh how fun!

Happy Birthday Quinky, Quinks, Quinten!

Quinten at 1 week old.

Quinten's first birthday.Quinten's 2 year old pictures.

So today my middle baby turns 2. Boy does time sure fly. We already had the kids birthday party earlier in September so today will be a little family birthday celebration. Quinten doesn't really have a clue as to what is going on but knows that he is turning 2. And I think will like it when he gets a couple of presents. We love you buddy and can't wait to watch you grow another year. And speaking of growing, I think he has packed on some pounds or he just seems heavier next to Spencer.

New pics

Today was a much better day. We even went for a walk. We'll see how tomorrow goes dropping Taylor off at her class. She was already telling us, tonight, that she doesn't want to go. That's all I have for now. Maybe I'll be more interesting tomorrow.

1 week gone

Well it's been 8 days since Spencer was born. We've had a whirl wind of visitors. And a very busy weekend visiting with Jordan and Kristen. It was really great to see you guys. Looking forward to Christmas. So far I think that the jump from 1 to 2 kids is easier. I've had a wicked headache sincecoming home from the hospital. it is a side affect of the anemia that has got me again. At least we caught it early. So that could be why I am finding it harder to deal with 3 kids. I'm sure as the weeks go by we will all adjust, and the temper tantrums will lessen. I seriously thought that Taylor was possessed one night. I've never seen her like that.
I have such a wonderful husband. He has taken up all the duties that I usually do. He has been amazing. I can't say it enough how much I appreciate him. I Love You Chris!
I'll be sure to the updates a little more regular.
Hope you all had a great long weekend and ate lots of turkey.

Spencer Myles Lobb is in the house

So there I (Chris) was having a really good night sleep Sunday morning at 4:00 when the " I think my water just broke episode #3" began. At 6:30 before I was really awake out came the words "it's a boy, and what a boy". 6 Pounds 14 ounces , 19 inches long and piano playing fingers (and toes). Kirsten's doing really well (and so am I if any one cares). Turns out Taylor really didn't care if it was a girl because all she wants to do is hold and kiss "her" Spencer. She's already trying to teach him how to walk. Quinten however is more interested in the hopital t.v. and ear piece. The cast for the life and times of the Lobbsters has now been set and Kirsten and I have had to change from man to man defence to a zone system. Who wants to babysit first?? Anyone, Anyone, Bueller, Bueller.
There's nothing in this world that compares to seeing your child born and the doctor telling you your child has arrived safely. For some reason it's just as exciting every time and I believe I've had enough of that excitement. God has Blessed me with the most wonderful family I could ever imagine led of course by the most caring wife I could ask for. She is of course the real boss.
Kirsten and I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support and would like to have you over to come and meet the newest Lobbster. Don't be surprised if while you're distracted by the cute baby we bolt and go out for a few hours.
P.S. The diapers are upstairs and the baby gets breast fed. Good luck.

Nothing yet

So I have now officially made it furthur in my pregnancy than I did with the other 2. Taylor was born 6 weeks early and Quinten was 1 week early. My due date is Friday. I have a feeling the c-day is going to be the b-day. Have been having the same type of contraction feelings for the last little while and nothing is happening. Kind of frustrating. Oh well. Taylor keeps asking if the baby is here yet. She is still convinced we are having a girl and won't accept that it could possibly be a boy. She is probably right. I guess we'll know soon enough.

Monday, September 24, 2007

Happy Birthday Taylor!

Today my baby girl turns 4. I can't believe you are 4 years old already. I remember the day you were born so clearly. It does sometimes feel like it was just yesterday. It has been amazing to watch you grow up and I can't wait to continue watching you grow. You continue to amaze me. I hope you have a great day.

We asked Taylor what she wanted for her birthday dinner and at first it was peanut butter and jam sandwiches, chocolate cake, chocolate chips and spinach. Now it is chocolate cake and pancakes with whipped cream and strawberries. I'm impressed that she wanted spinach. Maybe she knows that it will make her big and strong.

Happy Birthday my sweetheart. I love you!

Wow you are bigger

So today was another ob appointment. Had a little scare because he was having a hard time finding the heartbeat but all is good. He asked how I was doing and I said feeling big. He measured and told me that yes I was quite a bit bigger than last week. And normally he doesn't comment on the measurements. I also decided to weigh myself at the gym because I was curious to see how much I had gained. Ready for it? It's more than I had gained with the other 2. Although Taylor was born 6 weeks early and I was 37 pounds so I would have been heavier. And I was 20 pounds heavier than I wanted to be when I started out with Quinten so I had extra weight to lose there. This time I was at my proper weight and I have gained 43 pounds. Crazy. I have a big belly but everywhere else I am smaller. Makes me wonder how big this kid is. Maybe I will end up being grateful for the c-section.
We also had the kids yearly check up. Taylor is 32 and 3/4 pounds and 38 inches. Just about the 25th percentile for both. Quinten is 23 pounds and 31 inches. 3rd percentile for the weight and dropped even furthur off the chart for length. At least we get a lot of wear out of his clothes. He is just small and I'm okay with that.
Well I think I deserve a little sit down so I that is what I am going to do.

Less than 3 weeks and counting

So the official count is on. We are 2 days past the 3 week mark. Baby lobbster #3 could come anyday now. Well after about 9:00am, tomorrow, would be preferred by Chris. I think I have taken more belly shots this pregnancy than the other 2. Maybe because it is our last, I don't know. Taylor keeps asking when her sister is going to come out. No we don't know what we are having but she is convinced that she is having a sister. Hopefully, if it is a boy, she won't be too disappointed. Anyway I've been feeling pretty good. Finding it hard to sleep. Have had jimmy crazy legs a bit more but other than that can't complain. Night time is by far the most uncomfortable time. I feel bad for Chris because either I am up a bizillion times to go pee or I am on the couch watching tv because I can't sleep. I'm sure he would like me back with him. Anyway that's it for now. I leave you with another belly picture.
Don't I look chubby. Oh and don't mind the mess in the background. A little close up.

I love Starbucks

I love the starbucks we have been going to lately. They haven't screwed up our orders, in a bad way, yet. Today I ordered 2 grandes and they accidentally made Chris's a venti so they made mine a venti too. I love those screw ups.
Well it is officially less than 3 weeks till baby lobbster #3 is due. I guess I should take another picture today.
That's all I have for today. Maybe more will happen later.

Birthday, baby belly, and first class

Well I was pretty busy hosting the kids party that I didn't take many pictures. So I have to wait for my Mom to send me hers. I do have a picture of the cake. I tried taking pictures of the kids kissing the baby but it was tough to get them bothe to cooperate just right.

I've been busy today cleaning the car and garage out. Not sure if that is considered nesting but I seem to have a bit more energy today. Chris has told me that next Monday anytime after 12:00 and on will be a good time for the baby to come. I guess that would work if I could control it. Oh well, we'll just wait and see.

I couldn't get Taylor into a preschool so we have enrolled her in some classes at the Y. She is taking a dance class and a variety class, which we call school.

Notice that Taylor is wearing pants. This is a big deal. It's been so long since I've been able to get her in pants.

Happy Birthday My Sweets!

It has been such a busy day with the kids party that I didn't have a chance to wish my wonderful husband a very happy birthday. I hope that you had a great day, even though it was kind of over shadowed by the birthday party. I LOVE YOU!!!!!!

Coffee Addiction

Is it bad that when we go through the Stabucks drive thru, Taylor knows exactly what I order?Today she informed me that I would be having a pumpkin spice latte with no whip. At least I know she is paying attention, to most things.

Monday, September 03, 2007

Pumpkin spice latte, yum!

So I had a gift card for Starbucks and really wanted a pumpkin spice latte so off we went today. We were a bit lazy and went through the drive thru. Well that paid off because they gave the person in front of us her drink free, so I got mine free also. I don't think that has ever happened to me before. Thanks Starbucks lady for the free drink. It was awesome.

Our newest hairdresser

So as you all know Chris cuts his own hair and Quinten's hair. Today I found the haircutting kit out and looked down and a few chunks of white blond hair on the bathroom floor. Taylor decided she wanted her hair shorter. Luckly it is on the sides and you can't notice it that much. I guess we will have to hide the hair scissors up high.
Brian and Chrissy came for a visit. It was so great to catch up. Thanks guys for the wonderful visit. We also got to spend the day, yesterday with Steve and Sue and it was great to catch up with them too. Today we tried to go to the zoo. Our family has passes but the line for the cashier was a 1-2 hour wait just to get in. Forget that. So we decided to go for lunch, well that turned into an adventure as well. An hour later we got our food. I got moldy grapes on my plate. What a treat. They didn't even take money off our bill. Oh well it was fun to hang out with friends. Sorry guys Quinten didn't sit very still.
That's it for now. Have a great holiday Monday.

I'm seeing green

We finally have grass. What a difference a yard with grass makes. I can't wait for the kids to be able to play on it.
That's my news for the day.

Oh and Nathan it was the poop Taylor was talking about being hot.

Funny thing heard this morning....

Taylor: "Mommy my poop is hot."
Me: "Okay that's good."
Taylor: "No it's not. I don't like it hot."

She said it so seriously too.
We haven't had any poop stories for a long time now. We haven't even been taping Quinten's clothes. It's great. Maybe he is out growing that phase. I should probably knock on wood or something.
That's all I have so far but the day is still young.

Wednesday, August 29, 2007

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Joshua! Thanks for inviting us to your party. We had lots of fun.

Your friends,
Taylor and Quinten

Where is everybody?

Why does it seem like nobody is blogging anymore? Is it because Facebook is taking over or because it is summer? I hope all the peeps out there continue to blog. I like facebook but I also like the stories that are written on blogs. I must say I have been a bad blogger lately. Not much is really happening. Just waiting for this baby to make an appearance. And planning the kids party. I'll try to be better.

Belly picture

So I've been bugged to get another belly picture up. I'm just a slacker with them. I look like crap in the picture but decided to take one of myself anyway. I will be 34 weeks on Friday. I'm still having some cramping but nothing else. Other than that feeling pretty good. Taylor is starting to get really excited about the baby and can't wait for he/she to be born. For now I will leave you with the picture.

Back from Camp

So we got back from music camp last night and of course we are all exhausted. You'd think I would have had a great nights sleep last night, in my own bed. Ha! Maybe tonight will be better. Our first night at camp, I was Chrisless. I put the kids to bed and went to check on them later. I found Quinten outside of the playpen, naked. He had peed on Taylor's blanket and the dvd player, which was new because Taylor poured water on our other one and broke it. Luckly the new one still works. I just can't win with him. He was doing so well with his diaper and clothes taking off. Thankfully that was the only night he did that. We had a great week at camp and now time to plan the kids birthday party and get ready for the baby. Hope you have all had a wonderful weekend.

Dinner and a movie

Just got back from seeing Harry Potter. Normally we get to see it right away but not this time. Going to see a movie requires a babysitter and time. Taylor seems to think that I was going to see it to check it out before she sees it. I don't think she will be seeing it anytime soon. Too dark for her.

Things have been well around here. I think we have finalized our baby names. Which is good because we, well more like I, like to be super prepared. The kid has to live with the name for a long time. Don't want to screw it up.

Nothing much is new. I will leave you with a funny picture from the past week. He put the goggles, on properly, all by himself.

Oops!

So I keep telling Chris that I shouldn't help him cut his hair. Now he believes me. He looked into the mirror and saw me with my hand over my mouth and a look of horror and oops. I took a little too much off the back. I was suppose to be cleaning up his neck and slipped. I guess I won't be asked again to help. Luckly he could fix it. Taylor helped him earlier and I think she did a better job. She has been quite the helper today. She helped Chris hammer some nails into a book shelf as well as help with the haircut.
Now if I could just get her do help with the dishes. :)

It finally happened

We knew it would happen someday. Quinten has finally grown. Take a look for yourself.
Seriously I do think he has grown though. He sure likes to poke his feet out of the crib. Funny kid.
