So today was another ob appointment. Had a little scare because he was having a hard time finding the heartbeat but all is good. He asked how I was doing and I said feeling big. He measured and told me that yes I was quite a bit bigger than last week. And normally he doesn't comment on the measurements. I also decided to weigh myself at the gym because I was curious to see how much I had gained. Ready for it? It's more than I had gained with the other 2. Although Taylor was born 6 weeks early and I was 37 pounds so I would have been heavier. And I was 20 pounds heavier than I wanted to be when I started out with Quinten so I had extra weight to lose there. This time I was at my proper weight and I have gained 43 pounds. Crazy. I have a big belly but everywhere else I am smaller. Makes me wonder how big this kid is. Maybe I will end up being grateful for the c-section.
We also had the kids yearly check up. Taylor is 32 and 3/4 pounds and 38 inches. Just about the 25th percentile for both. Quinten is 23 pounds and 31 inches. 3rd percentile for the weight and dropped even furthur off the chart for length. At least we get a lot of wear out of his clothes. He is just small and I'm okay with that.
Well I think I deserve a little sit down so I that is what I am going to do.

Glad everything is going well, and I don't think you look big! 43?!?! I'm impressed, but talk to me when you hit 50! Hopefully the little one will come soon!
And tell Quint not to worry, Abby likes smaller men!
It's actually a phone interview so I won't have to go to Calgary, but i offered! I hope I get it too! I also hope baby #3 comes soon! I wanna see some pics and find out his/her name!
Maybe your going to have a big baby like me, 10 1/2 lbs!!
perhaps this one will get the Powell height?
now i don't feel so bad for looking at that belly and thinking "wow...how does she walk around with that thing"
Only 9 more days (according to my made-up countdown in which I picked a random date and am counting down to that)
wow, 43 pounds, you don't look too big, you look very nice & round in your belly, which your supposed to, you're hosting a baby in there!
I gained more the first time around, with Jonah I gained 36 pounds. With Logan I only gained 30 pounds. I went 4 days longer with Jonah, but over 40 weeks with both. Way to go on losing the weight for he 3rd time around, it's tough to do! I hate how the c-section messed up below my belly button, the skin lost all it's strength where they cut me.
So when's the big day? hehe, I know you won't share, can't wait to hear the news.
Try not to think about the lbs. I was so happy at the beginning of this pregnancy because I wasn't gaining any weight and now it seems like I might gain just at much as I did with Maya. We can always lose it later. Glad to hear that your kiddies are growing nicely - including the new little one.
