This is our life. Taylor is 8, Quinten is 5 and Spencer is 4. We are so blessed to have 3 great kids. I thank God for them everyday.

It's been awhile
I'm sure my blog readers will remember the lady from Penticton calling me a bad Mom, and a few other incidents of people trying to tell me how to parent. Well it has happened yet again. This time I just gave the lady the ol', uncomfortable laugh. Like what ever you say, chick. I have to say it didn't really bother me this time, okay as much. I was out with the kids yesterday at the mall and Quinten was being quite loud. THe girl at the till was trying to talk to him to get him to stop. She first said to me maybe he doesn't want to be in the stroller. Ya think, what kid likes to be in the stoller especially when his big sister gets to walk. Then she asked him if he was going to go to the park when we got home. So my reply was that probably not as it would be nap time. In response to that she said I should let him have fun too. Actually her exact words were, "You should let him have fun too, you know." And I of course can't write what her tone was like. Sorry that was a long way to describe the events. That aside we had a pretty good day.

A day of playing

That's so cool
I find as parents we know that our kids are learning from us but always worry about the bad stuff they might pick up. I've gotten back into running and Taylor is very aware of this. Everyday she asks if I'm going to go running or out for excercise. She has also asked if she can start running. We were hanging out after lunch and she asked me if I wanted to go for a run with her. I was taken back. Of course tears came to my eyes. I love that she wants to do this with me and I'm glad that i can be a positive influence on her. After the last couple of weeks being kind of hard it was nice to spend sometime with just her. Hopefully we'll get a chance to it again very soon.

Amazed
I have been reading some amazing blogs lately. I am drawn in by their faithfulness to God. They've all gone through some sort of challenge in their family(mostly kids) but they still remain faithful followers. I'm not sure what else to say about them. Maybe someday I'll add them to my links.
Nothing much new has happened here at the Lobbsters house. I tried the bananas and they are fine. I wonder what our next experiment will be. Any suggestions?

They're ready
A few things are ready today. Quinks got a new bike, he's ready to learn. Spencer is ready to crawl. He figured out that he can creep along while pushing his legs. And the bananas are now ready after 3weeks to be eaten.

On to week 3
Almost 3 weeks and the bananas are still green and hard. Had to buy new ones again. I'm sure I have more exciting things to say but I have kids fighting, as usual, so no time for more.
