Oops!

So I keep telling Chris that I shouldn't help him cut his hair. Now he believes me. He looked into the mirror and saw me with my hand over my mouth and a look of horror and oops. I took a little too much off the back. I was suppose to be cleaning up his neck and slipped. I guess I won't be asked again to help. Luckly he could fix it. Taylor helped him earlier and I think she did a better job. She has been quite the helper today. She helped Chris hammer some nails into a book shelf as well as help with the haircut.

Now if I could just get her do help with the dishes. :)

It finally happened

We knew it would happen someday. Quinten has finally grown. Take a look for yourself.

Seriously I do think he has grown though. He sure likes to poke his feet out of the crib. Funny kid.

Parenting is tough

I am finding out what it is like for Taylor to have friends outside of church. I know those kids really well and of course their parents. I am finding it hard dealing with the rejection from some of the neighbourhood kids. She was told the other day to go away but luckily Chris was home and sent her back to play. I don't like seeing my kids upset. I therefore get upset too. It doesn't help that she is the youngest and can't do alot of what the other kids can do. This will definitely be a learning experience for all of us. Maybe me more than anybody else.

We're Back!

I am really looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight. The mattress in our trailor was like our old one. Lots of springs poking out. It rained for half the time we were there but the other half was beautiful. Of course we had a poop and pee incident. I was called the b-word by some guys begging for money outside of Safeway. Once we find the camera I will post some pictures. And I'm sure I will have more to tell. I now need to go read some Harry Potter.

we're off

We're off to Penticton. So I won't be able to post about Kristen's birthday so here is a happy birthday a day early. Enjoy Paris.

Sleepy head

Taylor just got up about 10 minutes ago. Now if I could just get Quinten to sleep that late. She is still finding it hard to get to sleep right away at night but at least she isn't waking up as early. I am always saying, when the kids are sleeping alot, that they are growing. Now I've got Chris saying it. Wouldn't it be funny if she grew to be tall like my mom. I think Quinten has been growing too. Finally one of his 6-9 months shirts is getting smaller. Yeah! It could get expensive having to buy new clothes. Oh well it's worth it.
