Is this something you like having? I know I do and I like to support as well. It kind of makes me sad that half my race supporters will be at their own race across the country. But I know they'll be supporting me from there. I can find comfort in the fact that lots of people have supported me and continue to support my running hopes and dreams. My favourite race supports will be there cheering me on and that is what is most important to me.
My question to you is do you like having people come out and watch/support you?
I will admit I do and I love the signs that some people make. Even though they aren't for me they inspire me during a race.

I love having people come out and watch.support. I generally don't have THAT many people who can come out (usually Jordan is also running), so it is a huge treat when I do see someone out on the course who I know is there to see me. So I pretend that everyone is there for me :)
I'm thinking of flying to Calgary and running in your 14 degrees and partly cloudy instead of Ottawa's 28 degrees with a humidex of 36. Not that that will help me be along the course cheering for you...but...
Anyway- good luck! We'll be cheering you on from out here!
I wish I could come and cheer both of you on! But alas, I can't cheer either of you on since I'll be working. I will be sending positive thoughts both of your ways!!!
Hey! I just saw your comment on Kristen's blog and yes, I am running the Calgary half. Kristen actually emailed the other day saying you were too. Good luck on Sunday! My fingers are crossed tightly that this rain goes away!
