11 and a half days left

School will be done. I'm really looking forward to sleeping in on Tuesday's and Thursday's. Taylor has to be at gym on Mon, Wed and Fri at 9:30. Not too early but still early enough for the Lobbster family. The behaviour at our house has not been stellar. I think we are all in need of a break.

Even though I'm looking forward to the end of the school year it sadness me too. I get a little teary just thinking about this past year and what our family has gone through and what the kids have over come. Especially Taylor. She has really matured over this last school year and we are so grateful to her teacher. I'm not sure she would be where she is if it hadn't been for Mrs. V. We've been really lucky to have her the last 2 years. And I'm happy to report that for the past couple of months Taylor has gone into school without tears or clinging to me. She doesn't even need to go in her normal door. Those are huge steps for her.

It also makes me sad because we won't see all the friends as much during the summer. It's tough when everyone goes in their different directions. I'll miss the morning, mid day and after school walks with the moms. Those are really special times for me.

I am soooo looking forward to packing up the trailer and getting to Penticton. We will be there for almost 2 1/2 weeks. We decided to go a couple of days early so Taylor and Quinten can do the Penticton kids triathlon on the 16th. I think it's pretty cool that they want to get into that kind of stuff.

Anyway, now that I've poured out my feelings I must be wrap up this post.

Tomorrow is a new day and will be filled hopefully with relaxing. 2 sleeps. And no muffin order now. They didn't get enough interest so had to cancel the event.

Good night!
