Just call me whistlin' Dixie!

In the car today Chris and I were practicing our whistling, and I told him I couldn't whistle with my fingers. I found out today at age 28 that I have not been doing it right all along. You have to push in your tongue with your fingers. So now I will be practicing it to become an expert. You never know I might be a whistle pro someday.

21st Century

Well this is my first post from my house. We have finally joined the 21st century and got the internet today. It is so much better than having to drive over to my parents house everytime I want to use the computer. Chris will probably have to tear me from the computer. I see some late nights in my future. Kids are sleeping, we got the internet. Life is good.

Oilers!

For all of you Oilers fans here you go. We have only one jersey that is why only one kid is in the picture. She looks like a caged animal. No this is not how we treat our children. She was having fun being in jail. This had better be the only jail she is in.
If the Oilers and Flames end up playing each other next round we will have to get an Oilers flag. Go Flames Go! We aren't a competitive family at all. Ha!
Who knows what team our kids will cheer for (flames). We will let them decide ( flames). Go Flames Go!
Congrats Oil!

Flames or Oilers

Now for those of you who don't recognize this car it is ours and by ours I meam Mine and Chris's. Yes Chris has a Flames flag on his car. Before all of you Oiler fans have a fit and think he has come to the good side, I bought the flag and made him keep it up. Although he did try to lose it by unrolling the window. He says it was an accident but I know the truth. Don't worry he is still a die hard Oilers fan, that will cheer for Calgary sometimes.

Our Fans

Taylor wouldn't pose by herself so she agreed to pose with The Boy. What a pair. If you look closely you will see the mess on Taylor's face. What Taylor has a messy face? No?!

Flames Fans

This is our littlest Flames Fan. Who doesn't cheer for the Flames? Oh how cute!

Puke!

So it wasn't a poop clean up day but a puke clean up day. Taylor decided to puke on the carpet , let it slip through her fingers and fling the rest of it all over the carpet. Now that's dithgusting. I would like to send a shout out to Darrin for his win at Settlers last night. Yeah Darrin! And no it wasn't a fake win. I guess those are only reserved for me.

I am starting to feel a little bit left out with everybody being pregnant and doing belly pictures. Maybe I should post a picture. No maybe not. A nasty rumour might get spread that I am pregnant and we wouldn't want that, at least not right now. Man kids are busy. On that note signing off for now.

Put a shirt on

So what is the deal with my daughter not wanting to wear her shirt. I think it is our fault for it. She is so messy that when we eat we always take off her shirt. Now she seems to think it is an invitation to go topless all of the time. She seems to especially do it when we are around Joy and Darrin. I don't get it. It could be worse she could be going topless out in public. Lunch time!Food yum.

Shawarma

YEsterday Chris took me for a Shawarma. It was so good. Everytime Chris goes while he is working I can always smell it on him. So he decided I needed to have a shawarma. I don't think I was stinky like the Shawarma King(aka Chris) but man we were getting some good shawarma burps. I even liked the beets. I can't wait to have another one. My life hasn't been very exciting lately. I would like to let everyone know that when I win at Settlers it is not always a fake win. And no Kristen I haven't been practicing by myself but it sounds like a good idea. I think I might make everybody play on Tuesday. I'm being hollered at gotta go.

Once again I beat Chris at Settlers! We played 2 games and he didn't win one. Yeah! It always feels so good to beat him. I don't know why. Things are going well in the Lobbster house hold. The boy is doing his own style of crawling. Now I have 2 kids on the move. I thought I was busy before, it is even worse now. I do enjoy it though. At least now Taylor is starting to use the potty more. We haven't had any poop on the carpet for a few weeks now. We still need lots of Prosolve because of old pukey. Man our carpets are in need of a cleaning. Anyway enough of that. Chris is finally done working weekends for a few weeks and it is so nice. I was starting to lose my cool a couple of times with Taylor and it always helps to have Chris around. I have such a great husband. He is so supportive and loving and so great with our kids. I love him so much. More everyday in fact.
I still need to post pictures from Easter. Taylor was very excited to wear her special dress and shoes again. That is all she has been talking about. Well that and the kittens she got to hold. Our friends had kittens and wanted us to take one but we are not big fans of cats so we will not be getting one. Anyway got to go home to the Monsters. I have to finish my one job and go back to my other. Maid service is on the menu today.

Happy Easter!

Once again the Easter bunny has brought lots of treats for the kids. I'm sure I will gain weight by the time I am done eating all of the crap that we have at the house. All mostly chocolate of course. I think the Y will be seeing alot of me over the next few weeks. Taylor made us both cry last night. I took her out shopping with me and she was a terror. When we got home we put her to bed and Chris asked her if she was fussy and she said yes I was fussy for Mommy but I am just little. How does she know that? My little girl is growing up right before my eyes and I can't stop her. She will always be my little girl whether she is 18 or 2. I love our little Monsters so much. Got to stop writing can't see through the tears. I know Nathan I cry at everything.

Queen of Catan

I would to say for the record that I won Settlers on Wednesday night. Actually I won 2 games and yes Chris was there, Jordan and Devin. Watch out I just might be sneaking up. I have to say that I really miss playing Settlers on Tuesday nights. So for those of you that come for Tuesday night dinner we might have to start playing like the old days. Of course it won't be exactly like the old days when Chris, Jordan, Nathan and I would start playing at noon and I would not let them leave till I had won a game. Yes sometimes it would take all night. For some reason it feels so good to beat Chris, Jordan and Nathan. I'm not sure why but I love the taste of victory over these guys. I miss those days. It sucks now that people have jobs and have moved away. If anybody ever wants to play a game or 2 or 3 or more of Settlers give me a call. I am always willing to play. Even if Chris is working. The invitation is there.

Holla!

I just want to give a shout out to all the people that are close to me. Especially the friends and mostly family that I don't get to see very often. I really miss seeing Devin, Jordan and Kristen. I wish I could see and talk to you guys all of the time. Really I could but do you want me calling every second of the day? Probably not. But I would if we could. I miss seeing my friends from the chilly city up north as well. As Ellen says "Holla"! I hope all of the pregos up there are doing fine.

Bowling

The other day we took Taylor bowling. Here are a few pictures from our adventure. We weren't sure how she would do. She could actually pick up the ball. We were surprised. She is strong for being such a little girl. You will notice the two love birds sharing a drink after an exhausting game. If they get married we would have to show that picture for sure. Although I have been told by another mom that Ethan will not being marrying Taylor but her daughter. Taylor is 2 and Ethan is 4, I don' t think anybody actually thinks they are going to get married anytime soon or if at all. Marriage hah, let's get to preschool first. Why rush things. Anyway, she had fun and that's all that matters.
