So I finally got through to Starbucks. They can't give me a new gift card but are sending me some free drink coupons. Yeah! And really who am I kidding I was still going to go there but maybe not as often when I have to pay for it myself. Gift cards are great.

free drink coupons are like gold. On occasion I will keep one in my wallet for months until the moment when I feel like I can drink a venti caramel macciato (sp?) or when someone is with me who wants a venti blended drink. It is very important to me to fully maximize the free-ness.
I'm glad you got at least SOMETHING. I asked my manager about it and she said that if you were a regular at our store she would have given you a new gift card because it was a mistake by one of the workers... But it depends on the manager I guess...
I am not one to stay away from Starbucks either but I do it once in a blue moon. I was getting a caremel machiatto EVERYDAY for about 2 years and then I decided it wasn't worth it - or the fat I was gaining....haha. Gift cards are great....so are drink coupons.
