A first

I took the kids to the mall to pick up Spencer's pictures. My kids were so good. No whining, no fighting, no asking for stuff, no crying and they sat and ate their lunch without me bugging them to eat and no running away from me. I noticed this older lady (probably in her 70's) watching us. As I was getting the kids ready to keep shopping she passed by and told me I had very well behaved children and I'm doing a good job. That just topped off my day. I am having such a great day. Just finished a great run. Grey's is on tonight. A blizzard would be great to top off the evening but I don't think that is going to happen. I'll leave you with Spencer's pictures.

What amazing pictures! He is SO CUTE! And I'll jump on board with Chrissy and say you are doing an amazing job! I wish I were near you so we could hang out with our kiddies! Maybe when I come back to Alberta for a visit - with us being in Ontario now, it's closer and more likely that we'll visit my Dad in Calgary more often! Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous! I saw a photo one time of a baby with army pants on and a white t-shirt and he was crawling on his tummy from behind the leaves...almost like he was on the front lines in the military. Fun! Love the look!

I love the camo pants, I love them on little boys, so cute!! He is beefing up quite well, he's grown a lot since I saw him last, looking like a big boy and not a tiny baby anymore!!
Hey, you are an amazing mom, I'm glad you had a good time while out with your kids. Some people (those commenting bystanders) don't understand that when chldren do misbehave, it doesn't mean we are bad mommies, just that we are ALL HUMAN, and have minds of our own, hence the frustration from the minors.

How nice of that lady! You must have been on cloud nine! But she's right.

He's such a cutie! They all are!

it took me about 4 reads to figure out that you were talking about at DQ blizzard and not a snow storm. I was VERY confused as to why a bunch of blowing snow would make your day even better.

I'm glad you finally had a GOOD experience with a random stranger commenting on your parenting.

(and what a cutie that spence...)
