Okay so maybe hate is a strong word. I dislike them very much. I will eat them scrambled or in an omelete. Other than that blech. I think it is the yoke that I dislike so much. Yet today Chris gave me a taste of his poached egg and I liked it. I liked it so much that I had him make me one. It's so weird. Normally I would have gagged. I must just have been in the mood for it. Not sure it will be a regular occurance.

I have never really been an egg person and even though I didn't mind scrabbled eggs I really didn't like omeletes.... until now!
Devin and I always go to this breakfast place and one day I decided to order an omelete. Now I order an omelete every time we go! I am a total convert. So I can appreciate your confusion, surprise and delight at liking eggs after so many years.
Eggs did not come before the chicken...and I don't like them anyway but as an omellete with lots of veggies and cheese in it.
mmm...poached eggs are gooooooood.
eggs, when cooked well are delightful. when cooked poorly they are gag-inducing.
mmm...i could eat a poached egg right now...with some salt and pepper and a little whole wheat toast with butter on it... mmmmmm
I am the same way! I only eat eggs in an omelete, scrambled or paoched but the yoke has to be hard. I maybe only eat them once every couple months cause ya they kinda make me gag.
I am not really an egg person either. I can do scrambled eggs but that is about it!
Thanks for your comment on my blog today! I covet your prayers! You have a BEAUTIFUL family! God Bless!

I always make my eggs with a hard yoke & then peel the egg white away from it when it's done so that none of the yoke gets on my egg white! (b/c I hate egg yolks too!) Although now I've tried straining the egg & just cooking the yoke, but then it's more messy as you have a runny yoke to throw out :o)
But omelletes & scrambled I can do - probably b/c the yoke is not so concentrated?
Perhaps it is a craving....a pregnancy craving??? haha. JK.
On a side note, I LOVE EGGS in any shape and form!!!
