Go Heather Go! Meanwhile I have the Inspector Gadget song going through my head. I know I'm nuts! Heather is swimming, biking and running in a sprint triathlon tomorrow. I wish you luck chicky! I know you'll be great!
Last night Taylor lost her first, on its own, tooth. And she then lost it lost it. We think she swallowed it while she was sleeping. We can't find it anywhere. She's little disgusted that it could end up in her poop. And knows we will not be fishing it out of said poop. Can you tell she was not one of the poop players? Anyway tomorrow we will put a note under her pillow letting the toothfairy know what has happened. I did reassure her that she would still get money.
My one question is how much are teeth going for these days? I've heard a few different amounts. Just curious.
Have a great rest of the weekend and I'll update again tomorrow.
This is our life. Taylor is 8, Quinten is 5 and Spencer is 4. We are so blessed to have 3 great kids. I thank God for them everyday.

Way to go!
This past weekend my parents flew to Ottawa to participate in the Ottawa race weekend. Kristen ran the 10k on Saturday night with an amazing time. Way to go girl! So proud of you. Jordan ran the marathon, which by the way he qualified for the Boston marathon. This big sis is proud of you. You are an inspiration to me. My parents walked the half marathon and had some pb's. Makes me very proud to call you my parents getting out there and doing it. Maybe someday we'll all do a race together. How cool would that be? Now I wonder if Devin and Liz would join us?
On Sunday Heather is participating in a triathlon. I know she'll do great. I wish I could go cheer her on but she knows I'll be doing it in spirit.
If you have a chance swing by their blogs and give your congrats or best wishes.
And 5 days till the half. I'm at nervous time. The no sleep because I keep having race dreams.

Lazy Me
I've been a lazy blogger lately. Haven't done a post or commented on other peoples blogs. Bad Kirsten. I'm going to try and step it up. I think today's post will be in list form.
-been busy with soccer and gymnastics
-been busy training for a half marathon (#2) next weekend.
-had a fabulous 20k run on Friday. Hopefully I can do that well at the race.
-thinking about doing another half in a few weeks. I could be getting addicted to them.
-Quinks fell off the top bunk whilst sleeping. No worries he was perfectly fine. Probably a good thing he was sleep walking or whatever he was doing.
-Spencie fell out of his bed and cut his eye on the toddler bar. (Now it looks like he is wearing makeup) Maybe the bunk bed is cursed.
-Taylor is getting assessed again at the audiologist tomorrow. Hopefully we get some kind of answer.
-Some of my family is running and walking this weekend in the Ottawa running festivities. Good Luck Jordan in your marathon, Kristen in your 10k, Dad and Mom in the half marathon. I'm really proud of all of you. Wish I could be there.
-Can't wait to get out camping. We got the trailer last weekend and now we are stoked to get out there.
-our poop issues haven't changed it's just 2 kids now. You think a kid is potty trained and then they pull a few surprises. Most days I deal well with it.
-school is almost over. Only one more month of kindergarten.
-Karri moves home soon and I'm totally excited. I miss those guys so much.
Well I think that's all for me.

Poop stories are back
So I thought I was on road to no poop issues. Since we put Spencer into a big boy bed we haven't had to use any duct tape or use sleepers. No poop playing. Now for the last week we are having problems with our fully potty trained poop monster #1. He has pooped at least once a day in his pants and I'm starting to get pretty frustrated. I don't know if he gets busy playing and doesn't want to stop or what but I'm sick of the poop smell and the constant laundry. I haven't even finished last weeks laundry because of all the poop laundry. Argh!!!!!! I'm hoping this is just phase that will be ending very soon.
If anyone has any suggestions I'll take them.

Finally something exciting
(what a great husband I have.) Chris surprised me yesterday by arranging a ride along with HAWC 2 ( one of the police helicopters). Let me say how cool it was. Those that know me, know that I can motion sick very easily. So with a gravol in the ol' system I climbed in and my adventure started. They do a lot of circles so near the end of our trip I was getting hot and then pretty queasy. All I can say is thankgoodness for the air sick bags. I was embarrassed but the pilot and flight officer assured me it happens all the time. It was soooo fun. Can't wait to go again.
