Finally

I finally had an eggnog latte in a Christmas cup. I did buy the reduced fat kind. I will say this, not as good as the full fat version. I might have to treat myself once in awhile for a full fat one. I was still yummy.
Just as when we thought our house was done being sick another one falls ill. Quinten has had, you guessed it, diarreha for the last week. We are having him checked tomorrow. And now Taylor is sick again. My mom and I went shopping today and she was fine till near the end of our shopping adventures. We have this attachment for the stroller that she calls her skateboard. She laid down on that for awhile and then fell asleep in the stroller. So not like her. Then we got home and I could understand a word she was saying and she had a temp of 39.9. It really scared me. She now has a temp of 40 so according to health link we might have to take her in tonight. I hope not. I always get so worried when my kids are sick. Especially when they aren't acting like themselves and are really lethargic. I never know what to do. How long do you wait to have them looked at? And it doesn't matter how long you wait to see someone, as soon as you get to the doctor's office them seem to be better. I guess we'll see if Quinten does have something or is just sick with a cold. I know I'm a worrier so it is good that I have Chris to keep me balanced.
Well till tomorrow.
Later!
Peace out!

I worry all the time, especially about my kids. If they are sick I take them as soon as possible to the doc. You never know, and I live too far from any hospital or clinic to care to find out. I have a friend who had a sick kid once and she just kept treating her normally with tylenol and stuff and she ended up having seizures from the high fever. It can get really scary in a very big hurry. Better to be safe than sorry I say, even if everyone else thinks you're crazy. I don't care if people think that way about me.

I hope your kiddies get better soon! I'm sure it's worrisome, don't hesitate to take her in, even if she seems better when she gets there, she's got something if her temp is so high!

As a worrier, I know how hard it is to figure out when you are just being your normal "worried" self and when you actually have something to worry about. All in all though...we were all sick as kids and we made it. So even though it is worrisome (is that spelled right?) and it sucks, all signs point to happy healthy kids once they get over their "bugs".

haha, i thought you were talking about your mom when you said "she was fine until the end of our shopping adventure... then she laid down in the stroller."

i thought it was quite funny... until i realized i was an idiot.

hope that the kiddies get well soon!

Get well, Lil' Buddies!

That's why you pay health care premiums.

It isn't just you Nathan. I was like, Faye calls something her skateboard?...she lied down on it, in the mall? She must have been feeling really bad... she fell asleep in the strol -- oh, we're talking about Taylor here. Nevermind.

Hope the kids are alright. I now understand the worrying thing, I think it is just something all mothers do!
Take Care!
