My girl is sick. Last night she woke up with hives on her chest and back which moved up onto her face and behind her ears. Nothing a little Benadryl and calamine lotion couldn't fix. Then she woke up with a sore tummy. Which was then followed by....well you know. That wasn't going to stop her from going to gymnastics today. It must have been enough to stop her half way cause I got the come pick me up call. Poor kid is like her mama and doesn't want to just lay around but it's what is best. Let's hope she doesn't share these germs. It could make for an interesting start to our vacation.
My question for today is when loading a dishwasher which way do you put the cutlery in? Pokey parts up or down? We're a down family, but someone put some sharp knives up and I almost stabbed myself reaching in. Another reason, as well as others, that we put them down.
Happy Hump day!

Aww poor Taylor, hope it is all cleared up before you go away!
We put the cutlery up, I found too much food got stuck in there and left on the utensils in the basket that way! Except for SHARP knives, they go down, so as not to grab it, myself or the kids!! So a bit of both you could say.
We are an up family now. After years of having to re-wash we did the flip.
All you ever wanted to know about your back neighbor!
Ohhh Taylor, get better soon!
and may I say - I never knew there were so many Calamine lotions to choose from! thank you for your ads!
I do down... Not that I have a dishwasher. But if I had one, I'd put them all down.
I hope she gets better!
Poor Taylor.
I see the argument for both ways...although I don't think I would put sharp knives in the dishwasher anyway, so I wouldn't have to worry about that. At work I put the "eating side" down because who knows who will be taking the stuff out once it is clean.
