It's almost that time of year
Birthday season is coming upon us. So that means Momma Lobbster has to start the planning process now. Taylor's pool party is booked and Quinten insists that him and Spencer are going to have a hockey party here at home. All fine by me. The one part of birthday season that stresses me is the deciding who to invite. We are at the point where we can no longer have every kid from every family coming. And for Taylor school friends are being added into the mix. So I'm hoping no parent is going to be offended if one of there kids isn't invited. Our kids don't all get invited to all the parties, so I'm pretty sure we are safe. I just don't want to hurt any one's feelings. Please tell me other people feel like this. Argh!

I think it is natural to worry about hurt feelings when you can't invite everyone. We all know what it is like to feel left out, so none of us want to make anyone else feel that way (unless of course you are a douche bag)...but you really can't invite them all so you have to make the best of it. Happy planning!

I think it's normal not to get invited everywhere. part of life is learning how to deal with that. Its all good!!!
