What does_____ say?

Lately Taylor has come up with, on her own, things that people say. We start off by saying what does daddy, mommy, Taylor, and Quinten say.
Daddy says: Go to bed ( in a deep voice, whilst wagging her finger)
Mommy says: I love you
Taylor says: I need a snuggle
Quinten says: Waaaa!
Unkie says: Hola!
Uncle Devin says: Bend over cow
Nathan says: I've got to jet!
That is all she has come upwith so far but I sure there will be more. The older she gets, the funnier she gets. Kids say the funniest stuff. She constantly cracks us up. She also has become really caring. She doesn't like to see anyone get upset. She will tell Quinten, it's okay bud, don't cry. It is soo sweet. She really does like him. We are so lucky to have 2 healthy, great kids. I love you guys.

Mommy look Mountains!

Yesterday we went to Banff for a little hike. Taylor loved looking at the mountains. We then took a walk along the main street. We of course hit the candy store and then our special chocolate shop to but Murtles. If you have never had a murtle you are missing out. They are chocolate, cashews, and caramel. Oh so good. Mine is almost gone. It is too good to save.
I'm getting so excited because Unkie and Uncle Kristen are coming home for Thanksgiving. I wish Devo was able to come home too. I miss all of them so much. I hope to be able to go to the airport to meet them. They come in next Thursday. I know I'm a freak for want to go to the airport. 1 week and 2 days. It will be so great to see them. They will be here for Quinten's family birthday party. Yeah! Well I have now had to type this out twice and I don't want to erasse it again so I'm off for the night.
Later!
Peace out!

Happy 3rd Birthday Taylor!

I want to wish Taylor a very happy birthday. 3 years ago she surprised on this day, well actually the 23rd, by wanting to come out 6 weeks early. I don't have any of those magical pictures golding my baby right after delivery. These are from the next and after, once we were allowed to see her. I look back and am amazed at how much she has grown in size and as a little person. Those were some scary few weeks but I look back and amazed at how far we, as parents, have come with her. She changed our lives for the better. Shockingly enough, I get quite teary just thinking about that time in our lives. Wow! I love you Taylor and look forward to many more birthdays. Sorry it took me so long today to post this but I was getting ready for our family birthday party. 3 down 2 more to go.
I hope you all had a great weekend.
Later!
Peace out!

90210

So Chris makes fun of me for watching 90210. I just love that show so much. I watch it everyday at 4:00 pm. As I watch it I have a perma smile on my face. You maybe wondering why. Well, you see, Jordan and I used to watch 90210 andParty of Five. Those were such great times. I really miss both my brothers. I wish I could have these regular times in our week to spend together. So because I don't have that privilege of seeing them every week, they are with me as I watch some of our favorite shows. Remember Breaker High? That was another one of our shows. So I send this post out to my bro's. And anyone out there reading this don't take your family for granted. You never know how much you miss them till they are gone. ( Moved away) Maybe someday we will all be back in the same city. At least one time of year. I love you guys.

Picture as Promised.

Don't they look cute! That bow is a keeper for Nathan. And I like the whole pj/dress combo that Taylor is sporting. It took me long enough to post this picture. Something must have been up with blogger. I've been trying for the last 4 days.

Birthday Weekend

Well the first of our many birthday weekends has come and gone. We were able to entertain the kids without the bouncer. We did a craft, had a candy hunt, played, ate lots of food and opened presents. We didn't even get to decorate the cookies. Oh well maybe one of the other parties. Then that night I had a surprise party for Chris. He was surprised, not on the day, but a couple of days before. It's a long story, or maybe more like a boring story, why he found out. He really appreciated it though. It was nice to hang out with our friends. It was also nice to see some people that we haven't seen in a long time. So that is 2 parties down. 3 more to go. We are having a kids party for each of our kids and a family party. The family parties aren't as much work. Like I said in a previous post. Birthday's are a really big deal in our family. Our mom always made a big deal so we would feel special. I want that for my kids. On a side note, I got both kids weighed today. Man they are so small. Taylor is 27 pounds with her clothes on and 35 1/2 inches. Quinten is 17 pounds 12 ounces and 27 1/2 inches. He has dropped off the chart. He is a good eater so I'm not worried. Bring called petite is okay for chicks but not for my boy.
Here's a few picture from the weekend. I will post more on my flickr thing.
Later!
Okay so no pictures. Blogger isn't letting me post them. Check out the flickr thing to seem them.

Bye Bye Bouncer

So the weather is going in my favor. So therefore we aren't having a bouncer for the party. There will be crafts, cookies and candies. What more could a bunch of kids under 5 want? Or me for that matter. I hope it goes well.
So I have got the dreaded cold. It hit me last night. Why does it always seem when you have something important happening, you get struck with a cold. I haven't really felt like getting ready for the party but I have to. It's my motherly duty. Plus I grew in a household where birthdays are super important and a big deal is made of them. So it is in my genes to do this party thing up right. Well I guess I should go finish up getting ready. I'll blog and post pictures after the party.
Later!
Peace out!

Bouncer

I think is going to be a go for the bouncer on Saturday. It isn't suppose to be great but the forecast, according to the Weather Network, shows no rain. So that's a plus. We will all be dressed in our finest winter gear but who cares. Once you start bouncing you warm up. Well that is as long as I don't rip my pants like I did at the last party. I loved those pants too. Tonight we had Chrissy and Brian over for dinner, and Nathan. But he pretty much as been eating at our house everynight this week. Therefore I don't count him as a guest. It was great to see them. We watched Survivor like old times. And the best part about the evening was that Taylor warmed up to Bri and he didn't even have to bribe her with candy. I knew this day would come eventually. Well I have had a really busy day and I am tired. So Later!

Food at the Y

So there I was working out at the Y today. I was on the track warming up and all I could smell was cinnamon buns. Does anyone else think this is kind of weird. Go for a work out and wreck it all by having a cinnamon bun after. I'm sure they get lots of people buying them. They sure did smell good. I did not give into temptation. I was focused on the task at hand. I went shopping with my mom todaQuiy and I found Taylor's costume for halloween. She is going to be a monkey. It is so cute. Q
Quinten is going to be the chicken that Taylor was for the past 2 years. I know it doesn't seem fair that he doesn't get a new one but the chicken is darn cute I have to use it again.
So the weather for Saturday could be looking up. Rain is still on the menu but the high is higher. If that makes sense.
Chris is still sick and the kids are on the mend. So that's all I have for you today.

Did I have a 3rd kid?

I'm not sure but I think I had a 3rd kid and didn't know. Men can be such babies when they are sick. At least death hasn't come over Chris like it did the last time he got a cold. This week am preparing for Taylor's birthday party so if I get sick there won't be any laying around for me. We have rented a bouncer for Saturday but so far it looks like rain is in the forecast. I'm not sure what we will do with the kids. Our house isn't very big so it could be a little crazy. They have these halloween cookie decorating kits at Costco that I might have to get. Even though Halloween isn't for another month and a half. I have to entertain them somehow. If anyone has any suggestions for a back up plan I would love to hear them. I can handle the cold because we can still use the bouncer but rain is another story. Rain=no bouncer. Oh well it could be a squishy party inside.
So that has been my day. Looking after 3 kids. All of them at have a cold but in different stages. Taylor's almost finished, Quinten's in the middle and Chris just started. Grrreat! Perfect!
Here's hoping I don't get it.
That's all for now.

Peace Out!

Bye, bye favorite glass, Hello house

For those of you who know all about my favorite glass you will know how upset I am. I broke the special glass today. It was the last one of our set that Steve and Sue gave us for our wedding. I normally didn't let anyone use it, unless they were a guest and there weren't any other glasses to be used. I'm not actually that upset but I didn't think this day would ever come. Now I need to find a new glass. Bye bye favorite glass. I hope all the other broken glasses are as good to you as I was.
Now on to the good news. We bought a house. We will move in May or June. We are building in Lake Chaparral. Not too far from where we live now. We are excited to move into a bigger place. Once the building process starts I will post pictures.
The kids haven't been feeling great the last couple of days. I hope Chris and I don't get it.
Well that's all for now.

Some new pics

I haven't posted any pictures lately. I love my kids so much. These are just a couple of our latest pictures.
Today was a pretty good day. I think both kids are getting a cold. Taylor has been extra whiny today and her nose is runny and her voice is sounding scratchy. You wouldn't know QuinQuin was sick except for the runny nose. He seems to always be happy no matter what.
I bought party favors for Taylor's birthday party. I can't believe she is almost 3. As my brother and sister-in-law say it is Lobb birthday season. Tomorrow is the first of many more to come in the next 2 months. Well that's all I have for today. No poop story but Quinten did try to take his diaper off again. I might have to pull the duct tape out early.

Peace Out!

No diaper

I'll start with a little back ground on my story. We went through a phase with Taylor where she was constantly taking her diaper off and peeing and pooing on her floor. We tried everything from putting a diaper shirt over her sleeper to duct taping her diaper on. I thought I was passed all of that, at least for awhile. I went to get QuinQuin this morning and there he was laughing away having a good ol' time wearing nothing. I guess that will be the last time I put him to bed in just a diaper. So now the laundry continues. Oh well. See my life seems to always come back to some sort of bodily fluid.

Little miss attitude

Is it really possible that Taylor could already be developing a little attitude. She isn't even 3 yet, well almost 3, and already is being snotty. I think we are going to have to take sheepy away. She wants to go to time out and have her hand slapped. Tomorrow had better be better than today. On a side note and a funny note. QuinQuin pooped on Nathan today. I'm glad it wasn't me he leaked on. I'm pretty tired from my busy day. (It was 10% Tuesday today.) I think I will go watch tv and eat bonbons. Right Nathan?!
Later!
Peace out!

One Step, Two Step...

on Saturday Quinten took 2 steps. Yeah little buddy! We were so excited, especially Taylor. We went to the Guy/Decker wedding on Saturday. It was lovely. And the rest of the weekend was dedicated to drywalling the basement. It's not done yet but good progress has been made. Other than that nothing much has been happening. Hope y'all had a good weekend. Maybe I'll have more to blog about tomorrow.
Later! Peace Out!
