Birthday Weekend

Well the first of our many birthday weekends has come and gone. We were able to entertain the kids without the bouncer. We did a craft, had a candy hunt, played, ate lots of food and opened presents. We didn't even get to decorate the cookies. Oh well maybe one of the other parties. Then that night I had a surprise party for Chris. He was surprised, not on the day, but a couple of days before. It's a long story, or maybe more like a boring story, why he found out. He really appreciated it though. It was nice to hang out with our friends. It was also nice to see some people that we haven't seen in a long time. So that is 2 parties down. 3 more to go. We are having a kids party for each of our kids and a family party. The family parties aren't as much work. Like I said in a previous post. Birthday's are a really big deal in our family. Our mom always made a big deal so we would feel special. I want that for my kids. On a side note, I got both kids weighed today. Man they are so small. Taylor is 27 pounds with her clothes on and 35 1/2 inches. Quinten is 17 pounds 12 ounces and 27 1/2 inches. He has dropped off the chart. He is a good eater so I'm not worried. Bring called petite is okay for chicks but not for my boy.
Here's a few picture from the weekend. I will post more on my flickr thing.
Later!
Okay so no pictures. Blogger isn't letting me post them. Check out the flickr thing to seem them.

I took lots of pictures but can't use them all because some parents don't want there kids picture on the net. I also am at my capacity for flickr pictures. So when I can I will post pictures of Taylor and Nathan dressing up.

Taylor and Isabelle are almost the same size...Isabelle is 29 months and is 28lbs. And I think Zoƫ is just about the same size as Quinten...she was 15 lbs a few weeks ago and I would bet that she is at least 16 lbs now. Be happy that your kids are small...the bigger they are the harder they are to carry.

Being small is not a bad thing...especially when your kids get older. I'm sure they are both just really active and have a high metabolism or something. As long as they are eating healthy you shouldn't worry too much...right?!
Looking forward to seeing Taylor and Nathan dressing up...hahaa.

Glad the party went well. I would love to be one of your kids, having a huge deal for birthdays. I did a huge deal for my son's 1st b-day but not so big for his 2nd. However my daughter's b-day is 5 days after Christmas so we will have to see, I want to do the same but who is going to come to a huge birthday bash right after Christmas? Oh well.
