My hair needs help

I've decided that I am so sick of wearing my hair in a pony tail. I have made a hair appointment for Friday and have till then to find something that I really like. My favorite hairstyle was the classic bob. A little bit shorter at the back to give it shape and then longer in front. I'm not a huge fan of layers so I think I will asked for minimal layers or non at all. If anybody has any ideas, JENN.
I would love to see or hear them.

Yesterday we had our interior appointment for the new house. Who knew we had to pick so much. We even got to pick what color grout we wanted for our ceramic tile. And even with the upgrades we picked I think we will come out getting money back. Chris had originally said we would have an oak railing but we changed our minds to go with white because of the baseboards being white. And our cupboards are maple not oak and that would have been even more money to upgrade to maple. It's amazing how much we had to upgrade. And we didn't even go with the most expensive stuff. I'm sure they do that on purpose because they know nobody wants a lot of the standards. We will probably change stuff as we live in the house but for now we did the upgrades that couldn't be done later, and that we really cared about. We have 2 more appointments to go. Lighting and a place called digital imaging. I guess they do the cable outlets and stuff like that. I've heard the lighting can be costly. Most people like to upgrade those.
That's all for now.

Ok, weird, I had a hair moment today too. I am just so sick of being blah, but I want to grow my hair and I can't color it so I don't know what to do either. In any case a change will be nice for you, whatever you decide. The house sounds great, how exciting.

They get you with the upgrades. And I'm a sucker for the upsale.
I'm looking forward to seeing the new place. Hopefully we can crash the Lake Chapparel group and still hang out!
Your hair always looks good. The frizzy, layered, way-too-much-hair look is what I'm working with so....

i suggest a shaved head except for two long pieces of hair on either side of your head like what his face's wife on Miami Ink... its a hot look.

As a woman and non-mom, I think a bob is a great idea - because it's wearable, but it's not "mom-hair".
Plus it will still have movement, and movement is sexy.

I remember when you got your hair cut quite short, just before Arlene or Laurie's wedding maybe? I really liked that, but I know that the short hair thing is a huge committment. So, really, I'm no help at all, other than to say you've had lots of good hairstyles. Such perfect soft, smooth hair, ah, my dream. In my mind you can't go wrong, you'll look great no matter what. I would love to cut it for you, but seeing how I don't live there any more. I don't think it's going to work. I think an inverted bob with soft layers would look hot. It's my favorite hair cut of all times, if it's done right. Make sure you post pictures of what ever you get done. Can't wait to see.

One thing I've noticed is that a good dye job can turn a haircut from good to great. I'm particulary fond of the two-tone look these days. I know that's expensive but what can you do. The world is unfair. I'm lucky Lynn went with straight black. She can do it herself and it costs too much to change it so she's stuck with it for a long time.
