Back to Poop

I know some of have missed my poop stories. I'm thankful there has been a lack of poop outside of toilets and diapers. Today started off crappy. I will start by saying when I have a shower I put Quinten in his crib that way I know he is safe. I finished my shower got dressed, went to get the boy and what do I smell, you got it poop. He had unsnapped his jammies, took his diaper off and then pooped, which then led to him playing with it. So now I have to clean him up because it is all over his hands and body, the sheets all have to be washed and the crib has to be washed as well because he was painting with his poop. Taylor walked in and almost puked from the smell. That's all I needed. Poop and puke mixed together not a good combo. AFter everything got cleaned up it has been smooth sailing.
Tonight will be the first night I am away from my babies. My Mom offered to take them tonight seen as we will be over there for supper, and she doesn't want to get up early tomorrow. I am really excited about getting away with Chris but I am also really sad to leave my kids. I know that it is a step that needs to be taken. I know they will be well taken care of. It's my parents, I trust them, but it is still hard. I have already teared up about it and probably will some more. Hey it's who I am. Maybe I will have to get a pedicure while I'm there to keep me from getting too sad.
Well I best be going to get the kids stuff ready. I probably have to pack the whole house for them to go.

I have never left my kids either to go on an alone trip. The first and only time I have left even Walker overnight(he is almost three)was when Haven was born and he couldn't come to the hospital with me, cause I probably would have tried to take him. But it turned out ok anyways even though I still haven't left Haven overnight. Soon enough though cause I will be forced to leave them once this new baby comes. Have a good time while you are away! And yeah getting a pedicure sounds like a great idea!

Oh and I have never known anyone with as many poop stories as you and I worked in long term care for a long time! But they are humorous, probably not for you though I am sure.

Oh my gosh! I think I will be using the duct-tape at some point in the near future. Better stock-up now.

Hey I totally get you kirst when it comes to leaving our kids. Keith keeps hinting at going away, but Logan is not 6 months yet, and still exclusively nursing. Jonah has only been away overnight for chrissy's wedding(8 mths) our Fuel trip in June(2 1/2 yrs) and when Logan was born in august. 3 times in 3 years! Although Jonah is going for a sleepover tomorrow just for fun. I think our parents miss quality time with him since Logan arrived. I left Jonah with Barry & Linda on Saturday and the drive home with just Logan was so quiet, Jonah was talking and singing so much on the way there, I missed him soo much.
Anyway sorry so long, enjoy your night(s) away with your hubby!
