This might surprise some but I find myself wanting to be more girly. I'm usually not one who wears a lot of makeup or really does my hair all nice. Although I've been told that a ponytail is sexy. So I must have sexy hair almost everyday. I like having my nails painted. You should see the cool Canadian flag type design I have thanks to Karen at Totally toes.
You might be wondering why I'm writing about this. I guess it's because I'm sick of being low maintenance and want to be more medium maintenance. I'm sick of feeling like the ugly duckling, not that I think I'm ugly, just that I don't stand out. Pretty much blend in and don't always feel that attractive. I don't think it's just in what I wear or how I do my hair. It's a confidence thing. If I exude confidence I will not feel like the wall flower. I think I write this because I sometimes wonder what other women think about themselves. Do you ever feel like you blend in? I like the Dove commercials for this saying everyone is beautiful.
I shall go forth feeling beautiful.

You are beautiful. Although I feel the same way about myself most days, so I understand. But you do stand out, with your kindness and your personality and your smile and your natural beauty.
Looking forward to seeing you in a few weeks. Sure do miss you!

Wow, did I just write that? Cuz I sure could have, I feel the exact same way. I wish I had more energy or drive or whatever to put more effort to make myself feel good about myself. Getting rid of my glasses was a huge step for me, but sometimes I feel like it's such an improvement that I don't need to do anything else, which I could and should.

Totally understand exactly what you are saying. I so often feel inferior, because I compare myself to other people. Kirsten, Chrissy and Desiree you are all beautiful, inside and out. God don't make no junk! You are all great women!
