I did it!

If you zoom in on the first pic, you will see how happy Quinten is to be there.

Well I did it! I ran my first 10K as a mom. And it was only second time running 10K ever. I finished faster than I thought I would. I finished it in 1 hour 15 minutes. I thought I would have to walk alot but I only walked twice for a minute each. Is it bad to be proud of yourself? I got really emotional at the finish line. I'm not sure if it was because I was proud of what I had done or that I was doing with my kids and husband. What a great way to start the day.

I would like to dedicate this post to my Mom. It is hard for me to put in words everything I want to say and everything I feel. My mom has been such a support to me. She was always there for us growing up and that can be tough when you have a full time shift work career. I look up to my mom, literally, as well as in everything she does. If that makes sense. Sometimes my mom doesn't think I listen or take her advice but I do and I want her to know that. I strive to be as good of a mom as she was to me. I'm not there yet but hopefully someday I will be. I can't seem to get out what I want to say. So I will say this, I Love You Mom! And thanks for being such a great mom to us.

Yet another thing to try a keep up with the Lobbs over. What next, Everest?
Of course I am totally kidding - I too am very proud of you, expecially seeing how hard you were working at the gym. I don't, however, see Chris finishing the race. How much was his cab ride to the finish line?!
Once again,. nice work. Can you believe that we went all day without talking to each other?? What will we do this summer??
