This is our life. Taylor is 8, Quinten is 5 and Spencer is 4. We are so blessed to have 3 great kids. I thank God for them everyday.

Nap Time!
I went up to make sure everything was quiet upstairs and I found both kids sleeping funny. QuinQuin has his head stuck up against the bars and Taylor looks like part of her bed was taken away. I was so happy to see them both sleeping especially Taylor. Yesterday she didn't nap. Instead she decided to tear up 2 of her books. At least it looks like 2 books. There so many pieces of paper all over her room, who can really tell. I'm not sure what I am going to do with her. She has not been the best listener lately. And she has been getting into everything. I know she is only 2 1/2 but still, argh! For the most part she is a very good kid. And I do need to remember she is only 2. Maybe I have low patience right now because of the lack of sleep. Oh Jimmy why oh why. I am in the midst of making baby food and I really should get back to it. Just a little break for a couple of monster pictures.

Those are cute pictures :) Nice that they nap at the same time. Isabelle is into that "terrible twos" stage right now too. She does not listen at all! It is so very frustrating.
Hi Kirsten and Chris,
Those two are so cute! Does Taylor always sleep with her clothes half on?...
haha.
Hope y'all are doing well!
Taylor rarely wears clothes so half dressed is 50% more than usual!
Don't under-estimate what she can understand. She is closer to 3 than 2. Find her currency (Dr. Phil's terminology) and use it to reward or punish her. It'll pay off in the end. You are so good with her though even though she doesn't quite listen all the time. You have way more patience than I - the Mussolini Mama.
I'll call you tomorrow.
I hope you save this blog (if that's possible) so Taylor can read through this one day. It will be way more interesting than the standard photo album. Maybe it will help her appreciate you when she's going through the next terrible stage - the teens.
