What can I say?!

I can say I have had a really crappy day. I'm mean my day was good but man can one kid sure crap alot and get it everywhere. For once I am not talking about Taylor. The day started off with me finding Quinten laying in his own pee and poop. That was pleasant to clean up. That was bath #1. Then we had to let him sleep this afternoon without a diaper on because he has a super nasty diaper rash. Well then he peed all over himself, the crip, and the floor. That was bath #2. Then right before supper he was jumping in his jumperoo when I noticed a pile of baby poop on the floor. He was jumping so much and so hard that it leaked out the front and down his legs. So there is bath #3. I hoeping that will be it for the day. I don't think I will ever need to steam clean my carpets because I am just cleaning them one spot at a time. So far the carpet has been Pro Solved 5 times. And that is only downstairs, that doesn't include The Boy's room. That should explain why I do so much laundry. Joy I figured it was about a month ago that I bought laundry detergent so it wasn't that bad. I at least got a month out of the 96 load container.

I finally got my competition music for Music Camp sent in to DHQ. Darrin thought he was one up on me because he at least had his music picked out. Well now mine is in and I don't have to worry about it. For those of you who are reading this and wondering what the heck I am talking about, I will explain. I am the Vocal Director for our divisions Music camp. I've been putting off getting music but now I'm done. Yeah one less thing to worry about.

One final thought before I get leaked on. Before Taylor goes to bed she tells us who she loves and yes Darrin you are still at the top of the list. After us of course and Bosson.

I know I only have one post today and yes I also know I'm not that exciting but this is my life.

I'm sorry you had a crappy day. At least it was somewhat productive. I suppose i will be the one to get Darrin organized and get that music sent off. I may even fill out our applications this evening.
96 loads in a month? Even that's crazy but I was sure it was only a couple of weeks. Wasn't it the Ikea trip? Was that a month already? Let's get together this week, maybe for a "working lunch"?

oh, and why don't you ever comment on Dev's blog??

Working lunch sounds good to me. When is good for you? I am pretty much free any time. I would like to get Quinten weighed tomorrow because they have that thing in the afternoon where you can ask the health nurses questions. I want them to look at Quinten's diaper rash to see if I need it to be checked. Other than that. I free as a bird. I don't know why I haven't commented very much on Dev's blog. I will have to start. Maybe right now. And my word is "sblsblwl" :)

Anyways yeah HOW DID we all grow up so fast?????? Do you remember that one girl who sang in the vocal competition at camp and couldn't sing? I cant remember her name but it was bad.

Thinking of music camp makes me want to go dig out all the old school pics of all of us waaaaay back. They are always good for a great laugh:)

I wish we could all go back to music camp again, like old times. Only now it would be so different cause nearly everyone is married and/or has kids. Oh well, we have the memories. Good times!

P.S. I know all about the poop thing. Having two kids in diapers makes it hard to escape from it!

Kirsten, have you tried putting Sudocrem (available at Walmart) on his bum and then put Corn starch over the cream? Gabrielle had a MAJOR diaper rash last year and we were seeing all kinds of specialists about it. We tried the corn starch as recomended by one of the pediatrics nurses, and it worked really well. It didn't go away over night, but we could at least change her without her going balistic. The other thing is that I cut out apple juice or just watered it down A LOT (1 part juice to 3 parts water). The apple juice would make her pee really burn her bum. Finally, this is all after we cleared up the yeast infection she developed due to all the diaper rashes. First, find out if there's a yeast infection, get a prescription for that and then try the other suggestions! Just some words of advice. If you've already tried it, then I have no suggestions! Sorry! But I thought I would try to help because I know I was looking for ANY word of advice when we went through it with Gabrielle. Happy bum changing!

Dayna,I have tried all of those things you suggested. Taylor had a really bad one when she was about 8 months old. Actually it was even worse. We have to get a couple special creams for her. It isn't fun. I feel so bad for them. It hurts me to see them hurting. Oh well hopefully it will get better soon.

I hope so too! Gabrielle was 8 months as well. It's so heartbreaking to change them and put them through the pain. But as the verse goes "this too shall pass"! Thank God!
