More grass talk

Before we got our new grass cutting device we did not grasscycle. As a matter of fact the last time I cut the grass before getting our own mower, I had 11 1/2 bags of grass. I guess that'll happen when it rains constantly.

You may be asking yourself right now why is she telling us this. We all do things our own way and I don't want anyone to feel singled out for doing something differently. That was not the intention of my last post about grass.

P.S. I'm still having fun using the reel mower and getting a little added exercise.

You don't need to be apologizing for things other people say.

If your posts stir up a little controversy, then consider it good for conversation. Everyone that reads is an adult (i'm guessing) and can stick up for themselves.

Love,
Well, you know who this is.

You always seem to have to say something about your last posts apologizing or explaining... I don't know if people tell you something insulted them, or if the comments are implying that... But isn't this your blog? Isn't this where you get to say what's on your mind and people can take it or leave it? I think maybe your readers need to lighten up and let you say what you want to say. If they are offended, perhaps they should stop reading.

(And I'm not saying "some people" in a passive aggressive way, I actually have no idea who gets offended and I'm saying we all just need to let bloggers blog. Sure we can have a discussion, but it shouldn't get to a point where people are scared to blog out of fear of offending.)

End of rant.

1) I completely agree with the above comments.

2) There are a lot of people who base their identity around the assumption that they are always right and their way of doing something is always the best.

If you know one of these people there is no point engaging in a debate with them - all you can do is smile, nod and change the subject.

11 1/2 bags of grass! OMG! How big is your lawn! We have a little postage stamp garden and a small electric mower...I think at most it would fill up one bag!

btw...what do you mean by grasscycle?

i was thinking the same thing. 11.5 bags of grass sounds like an entire soccer field...
(though i know it isn't)
was the grass taller than quinten? (and if so, do you have any pictures?)

I agree with most of the other posts...you don't need to apologize for other people's comments. We are all adults here. Love you for being so sweet though ;)

I agree with Heather, way to word it! Blogs bring up lots of different views on subjects and people often comment on their own experiences with whatever it is about. People can then take what they want and don't want.
And if someone has a problem then they can let it go for good or deal with the person if they want to.

did you have 11 1/2 bags at your current place? How much lawn do you have, I haven't seen your new place! That would add to the exercise of cutting the lawn!!
