Over the Hedge

I took Taylor to her first movie this afternoon. She really impressed me. She sat still for the first half and the sat on the stairs for almost all of the rest. One point she wanted to sit on my lap. I don't think I have ever seen her sit that still, ever. She didn't even finish her pop and popcorn. What is up with that? She must be feeling well for her to give up junk food. We had a good time together. We both need the time with just the 2 of us. I haven't had a chance to spend alot of one on one time her lately. The next movie we'll see is Cars. I even found a bathing suit.

On the bathing suit subject. I decided to go a different route. I got a couple of those surfer tops and bikini bottoms, and a one piece. Maybe by the end of our trip I will wear a regular bikini top but who knows. The ol body just isn't the same anymore. Up will sum it up in one word. STRETCHY. Who knew a body could stretch that much. Anyway all in all these have been a couple of great days. We are off to the city north of us. Hopefully we can hook up you Edmontonians. How's Sunday? I'll call you.

Later.

I have a question, did you get a lot of stretch marks when you were pregnant? How much weight did you gain? I'm just wondering to that I can prepare myself. So far I have no stretch marks and have only gained 19 lbs. Hopefully I won't have to do much after the baby gets here but we'll see.

I've been STRETCHY ever since I became a Dad. And it's really affected my bikini purchases too!!!

Not that I know this for sure...but tammy i think that not only to the stretch marks happen, but sometimes your skin stretches out, but doesn't quite return to its pre-baby splendor (read- doesn't tighten back up again as much as you'd like it to).
If life were fair, stretchy skinned people like Nathan would be the ones having babies.

kirst- i'm pretty sure i threw up at my first movie (pinocchio) so i'm glad you and taylor had a good experience!

Yeah, now we can do the movie thing together! It's the wonder of the big screen that keeps them in their seats, i think.
Congrats on the bathing suit. I need to buy one too; my maternity suit is actually too big!
Tammy - don't forget to check the areas you can't see - that's where they first appear (maybe not until the last 6-8 weeks or so)
Kirst - miss you major!

Stretch marks happen if you are genetically prone to them. Ugh! Cocoa butter doesn't help either, I have the proof! But your little baby is so worth!
I am glad Taylor had fun at her first movie. And good for you for finding a bathing suit.

I am not brave enough to take Isabelle to a movie yet...unless it's Dora.

Can you generate residual income with that? I'm learning the power of residual income for financial independence.
